Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

This Pumpkin Pie Milkshake is the best fall sweet treat that is super easy to make!

Of course when it’s the fall season, we’re making pumpkin everything. RecipeBoy readers seem to love our Nutella Cheesecake Pumpkin Bread and our Pumpkin Gooey Butter Bars. But we happen to love frozen pumpkin things too, so we are sharing with you our best pumpkin pie milkshake! This recipe was originally shared by RecipeBoy himself way back in 2011. But the recipe needed new photos, so we’re re-sharing it today.

What ingredients do you need to make a Pumpkin Milkshake?

I love recipes that have fewer than five ingredients, and this Pumpkin Pie Milkshake is one of them!

  • vanilla ice cream
  • milk
  • unsweetened canned pumpkin purée
  • ground cinnamon
  • whipped cream and sprinkles (optional)

How to make a Pumpkin Pie Milkshake:

The complete, printable recipe is at the end of this post.

Scoop vanilla ice cream into a blender. Add the milk, pumpkin and cinnamon. Blend until smooth. If the milkshake is too thick when you’re done blending, add a little more milk and blend it a little bit longer.

Add whipped cream and sprinkles on top, if desired. Add a festive straw too. Drink!

How to make whipped cream:

In a chilled mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of heavy whipping cream with 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to beat until stiff peaks form. That’s it!

Pile up the whipped cream on these yummy milkshakes. Grab some festive fall sprinkles from Michaels, Hobby Lobby or Walmart.

These turn out fabulous! They taste just like pumpkin pie, and I suggest parents (or kids) make this recipe on any day near Halloween (or Thanksgiving), no matter what the weather is. Enjoy!
