Simple Double Berry Smoothie

For a yummy snack after the Fourth of July craziness, I chose to make a Simple Double Berry Smoothie. The point of it was to satisfy my hungry stomach, make something that is very easy but healthy, and have a tasty snack. And my mom loved it!

After you drink the smoothie, you’ll need to brush your teeth again. My teeth looked kinda gross after I drank it (from all of those fresh berry seeds)!

I like smoothies better with regular milk because Almond Milk tastes odd to me, but if you are watching your calories (or can’t have dairy) you should use Almond Milk.

Say Cheese or Dad will pinch you!

I would suggest putting a lot of honey in the smoothie so that it’s sweet. With unsweetened Almond Milk, I put a TON of honey in it.

Again, I think smoothies are much better with regular milk. But it’s all up to you to choose between the two different milks.  Which one do you prefer? Almond Milk or regular milk?  Do you have any other secret ingredients for a good smoothie??

And even a kid can make it… Like Me!

I prefer almond milk but regular milk works, too. I also agree with the above poster that it needs a banana. A very ripe one!

I like to use frozen berries and omit the ice. And add a tablespoon of ground flaxseed.

I like make smoothies with regular milk! Aha, since I'm not lactose intolerant or anything, milk is what I go for.
