These Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Stuffed Oreos are a decadent sweet treat that is totally worth trying!

Who admits to sneaking a little cookie dough to eat when you’re making cookies?  That’s exactly why RecipeBoy first made these Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Stuffed Oreos back in 2012. He was only 11 years old back then. And he was (and still is) a cookie dough fanatic. I’m re-sharing the recipe today with new photos and a how-to video as well. They are very much worth highlighting again!

This stuffed cookie is PERFECT because you don’t have to sneak the cookie dough out of the bowl. You eat it in the dessert! It’s genius.

How to make Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Stuffed Oreos:

Be sure to scroll to the end of this post to print out the complete recipe so you can make these at home. And watch the video too!

You’ll make the cookie dough first. It’s a basic chocolate chip cookie dough with no egg. And it calls for using miniature chocolate chips since those will work much better in these small, stuffed cookies.

How to make raw flour safe to eat:

If you’re concerned about eating raw flour (and many people are), there’s a simple method for making it safe to eat. To eliminate any dangers of using raw flour, toast your flour in the oven for 10 minutes at 350 degrees F.  Then it will be safe to use in an uncooked cookie dough recipe like this one.

Next, you’ll split apart your Oreos. You don’t have to scrape the cream off the Oreos. Just leave the cream on there. Split them apart carefully with a sharp knife so you don’t break the cookies.

Then you’ll take the cookie dough and put about a tablespoon of tough onto one half of an Oreo.

And then you’ll sandwich another Oreo half on top of the cookie dough.

And finally, you’ll roll the edges of the stuffed Oreos in the mini chocolate chips. That’s it! At this point, you can stack them on a platter, wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate them. Or you can store them in a covered container in the refrigerator.

This may sound like a SUPER decadent treat (because it is), but it is perfect for any cookie dough lover like me. Who in the world wouldn’t like cookie dough stuffed inside an Oreo and rolled in chocolate chips?

These Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Stuffed Oreos taste incredible and look incredible. They’re just what you want in a comfort food, easy dessert recipe!

RecipeBoy with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Stuffed Oreos

These are RecipeBoy’s words from his original post, which I think are pretty relevant today!

Oreos can bring joy  to people on the gloomiest of days. So can cookie dough. If you combine those two joy-makers into one dessert, what difference do you think it will make to their day? I think that it will make it the best day of their life. This recipe is SO easy, but it tastes amazing. Just ask all of my cousins. I made these for 35 people at a family reunion. And they were the biggest hit!
