No Yeast Dinner Rolls
Easy alternative for rolls when you don't have any yeast!
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- butter, for brushing
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 6 muffin cups with nonstick spray.
Combine all ingredients (except butter) in a bowl. Divide the batter between the 6 muffin cups.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden and cooked through. Immediately brush butter on the tops of the rolls. Serve warm with additional butter.
- Add 1 teaspoon of sugar to make these slightly sweet.
- You can substitute melted unsalted butter or canola/vegetable oil for the mayonnaise, if you'd like.
