A famous, delicious recipe from one of my favorite TV shows!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ pound bacon, slices cut into thirds
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • ½ large onion, chopped
  • ½ large bell pepper, chopped
  • One 28 ounce can whole tomatoes
  • 8 ounces elbow noodles, cooked according to package directions
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, cook the bacon until it's half-way cooked. Tilt the pan and spoon out all of the fat except for about 1 tablespoon.
  • Add the ground beef, onions, bell peppers, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the meat is totally cooked.
  • Add the tomatoes and crush them by hand in the pot. Stir in the cooked pasta and heat everything entirely. Serve!
