Juicy Skillet Pork Chops
A generous amount of Italian seasoning and a sear in hot butter gives these pork chops awesome flavor!
- Two 6-ounce ¾-inch thick bone-in pork rib chops
- 1½ tablespoons Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon salted butter (plus more, for serving)
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, stir together the Italian seasoning and salt. Rub the mixture all over both sides of the chops.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the chops and reduce the heat to medium. Cook, flipping once, until done (145°F), 8 to 10 minutes. Let the chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Add another small pat of butter on top, for serving (if desired).
Store any leftovers tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
